1. Rules For Online Conduct 

By using the service, you agree that you will not attempt to undermine the integrity of this web site. 

These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or making a booking or purchase you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website or book any services with HHE Salon. 

Before you place an order for hair care products or hairdressing services, if you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions please do not hesitate to contact us.

2. Booking Our Services

HHE Salon will only take bookings from female clients for security and efficiency reasons. Services may be provided to male clients or children if booked with services to be provided to the female client(s). Enquiries may be made by telephone, email, text or Social Media. Bookings will only be confirmed by HHE Salon once the details and prices, including any travel expenses, for the services have been agreed with the client, and this will be done either by telephone, email or text. HHE Salon reserves the right to select and use the most appropriate professional products for all services provided. Bookings may be subject to an additional charge for travel where the appointment is more than a 15 mile radius of Gillingham/Sherborne Town Centres. The charge will be calculated (based on travel distance) at the time of booking and agreed prior to acceptance of a booking. Minimum charge for any appointment is £10. Evening appointments (after 6pm) with less than 24hrs notice may be subject to an additional charge.

3. Your right to cancel

Bookings totalling under £20
The following terms apply to all appointments made with a value up to £20 - excluding wedding hair. See below for special terms applicable to wedding hair and higher value appointments.

At least 24 hours notice is requested if you need to cancel or change your appointment, otherwise the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

Cancellation or change of treatment times within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the full appointment value. If you fail to give any notice of cancellation prior to your appointment, then the services will be charged at full cost. If part of a booking is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the appointment as booked will remain payable upon departure.

As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, customers are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with HHE Salon (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract.

How to cancel or change your appointment: Cancellations should be made by calling us on 07966264621. If you are cancelling outside of normal working hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) - you may cancel by email or text message, but this should be followed up by telephone during working hours.

Bookings totalling £20 or over 
Applies to single or group bookings: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required - in which case there is NO charge; otherwise the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

4. Wedding hair - Availability

Wedding hair appointments and consultations can be provided outside our normal working hours of Mon-Fri 9m-5pm to suit the individual client.

In the event of HHE Salon becoming unavailable on your wedding day, any of the trials or consultation meetings, through circumstances beyond our control, HHE Salon will provide a full refund of all monies provided as a deposit. 

5. Wedding Hair and Make-up - Trial Appointment

HHE Salon offers Wedding Hair Trials (of up to 2hrs) when you can try out one or more hairstyles to see what suits you best. Throughout your appointment you will receive professional advice on styles to suit your face-shape, wedding dress or wedding theme, and provide you with examples of fashionable wedding hairstyles which you might like to try. HHE Salon also offers make-up trial services for your special day (up to 1hr). Additional charges will be incurred if the Hair or Make-up trials over-run there allotted times (2hrs for hair, 1hr for make-up). Ask us for more details.

6. Wedding Hair and Make-up - Deposits and final payment

A 50% deposit to secure your wedding day hair and/or make-up is required after completion of your wedding hair/make-up rehearsal. Minimum deposit £30. The remaining balance must be paid in full a minimum of two weeks prior to your wedding day, otherwise your appointment will be cancelled and a cancellation charge will become payable (see 7. below). 

7. Wedding Hair and Make-up - Your right to cancel or change

You reserve the right to cancel your wedding day hair and/or make-up until 7 days prior to your wedding day. The following charges will be made and late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

Greater than 90 days to wedding day - full deposit will be returned, minus £30 admin fee.
61-90 days to wedding day - 30% of the total value of the booking will be retained, minimum £30.
60-15 days to wedding day - 50% of the total value of the booking (i.e. your full deposit) will be retained, minimum £30.
14-8 days to wedding day - 75% of the total value of the booking will be retained, minimum £30.
7 days or less until wedding day - 100% of the total value of the booking will be retained, minimum £30.

Trials: If you wish to change the time of your wedding hair trial, standard cancellation charges apply which is dependent on the value of the booking.

8. Gift vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non refundable and are valid for 3 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.

Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers - which will be voided should you fail to give the required notice. Please check required notice periods based on the value of the booked appointment.

9. Our right to cancel or move appointments

In unusual circumstances we may need to cancel your booking. In the event that we cannot fulfil your appointment, we will contact you by telephone. If during an appointment HHE Salon is not satisfied that the condition of a client's hair or nails are as described at the time of booking/consultation, such as, but not limited to, hair damage due to excessive bleaching or build-up of colour, then HHE Salon reserves the right to cancel the appointment. Under no circumstances will any compensation payments be made by us to you for any cancelled or moved appointments. 

10. Our rights

We reserve the right to: 

1) modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website. 

2) change the conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the conditions then you must immediately stop using the website and/or our services. 

11. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for any completed services. However if you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please let us know prior to our departure, or in writing within 24 hours of our departure. We will try our utmost to resolve any problems encountered with a particular service, but this excludes the provision of modified, alternative or additional services, unless fees are paid for such services. 

12. Your file

You agree to keep your personal record held by HHE Salon updated with your full contact details - which will enable us to contact you in the event of any change relating to your appointments. Where possible, please provide current address, plus both landline and mobile telephone numbers.

13. Payment

All payments must be made in cash, or via pre-paid gift voucher, and no staged payments will be accepted unless prior agreement has been made.

All prices are correct at the time of posting online. The total cost of your booking or product is the price as set out on this website, but will be confirmed either verbally or via email before any treatment or service commences. 

14. Princess Pamper Party bookings

A 25% or £30 (which ever one is the greatest) deposit is payable to secure all party bookings, with the remainder due 1 day before the date of the party.

Should you wish your cancel your Pamper Party, the charges are as follows:
  • 28 or more days notice - 12.5% of the total value of the booking will be retained (i.e. half your deposit), minimum £30.
  • 7-27 days days notice - 25% of the total value of the booking will be retained (i.e. your full deposit), minimum £30.
  • Less than 7 days notice - the full price of the Pamper Party will be payable.
